چکیده
Foodborne zoonoses are the most neglected discipline due to a lack of awareness potential health hazards, standardized detection methods, and identification infectious host reservoirs. Food is major carriage vehicle for transmission zoonotic pathogens many outbreaks globally. Resilient surveillance holistic intervention effective mitigation strategies at both preharvest (bacteriophages, probiotics, vaccination, micronutrients, breeding, culling), postharvest (advanced food processing, biofilm removal, disinfectant), retailer consumer levels can reduce or prevent cross-contamination. Rapid tracking contamination sources route infection should be implemented using analytical techniques targeted causative organisms microbiological risk assessment. An overview elaborating various farm-to-fork pathogenic different stages chain presented. However, special emphasis placed on application advanced novel processing preservation techniques, such as high-pressure pulsed light, ultrasound, ultraviolet ozone treatment, irradiation other hurdle technologies pathogen reduction quality assurance. This review will provide an overall scenario regarding foodborne pathogen–human interactions possible prevention measures that would helpful producers, manufacturers, retailers, consumers safer sustainable development products.
